Immaculate Conception School is dedicated to fostering  in each student a deep love of the Lord Jesus while nurturing, guiding, and challenging students to realize the fullness of their God-given talents, gifts, and abilities.
 
We are open to all.   We are affordable.  We will turn no one away because of financial need. 

We offer a strong and well-rounded program from pre-school through grade six with-in a rich, faith-filled environment.  We believe every student is a gift from God.  And we believe every student can succeed. 
Immaculate Conception School uses a positive behavior support system.  Students are rewarded for positive behavior and discipline is handled in a loving and respectful manner to help students learn self-control, respect, and responsibility.

In addition to the core curriculum designed by the Diocese of Columbus Office of Schools, students attend computer, music, and physical education classes twice a week.

Student Activities
Junior Choir: Students in grades four five, and six form the school choir that performs in a variety of settings throughout the year.

The Principal’s Advisory Committee:  Students in grades five and six learn leadership skills, organize school activities, and provide a sounding board for the principal.

The Blue Wave Service Team:  Students in grades four, five, and six participate in a variety of community, school, and church service projects throughout the school year.

Athletics: Students may participate in a wide-variety of youth sport programs sponsored by Tuscarawas Central Catholic Junior/Senior High School including cross-country, flag football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and track. 

Students in all grades also participate in a variety of special activities during the school year including Grandparents Day, Advent/Christmas Pageant, and Spring Play.
 
 
Transportation
The Claymont, New Philadelphia, and Indian Valley public school districts provide bus transportation to Immaculate Conception School.  Residents of other public school districts are eligible to receive “payment in lieu of transportation.”

Lunch
Immaculate Conception participates in the National School Lunch program. This enables us to offer free and/or reduced lunch prices to families who qualify. Information is distributed at the beginning of the school year.

Parental Involvement
Immaculate Conception encourages parental involvement.  We have an active PTA, Board of Trustees, and Parent Volunteer Program.
